Jorge Padilla, CFP®, Senior Client Advisor





Jorge joined The Lubitz Financial Group in 2008 and works in the advisory team to develop wealth planning strategies and personalized financial advice for clients. He manages the portfolio management operations and plays a major role on all investment research and trading decisions in the firm. In addition, he assists Linda Boone on compliance issues and oversees the firm’s technology related projects. Jorge is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and a member of the Investment Management Committee. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Miami Dade where he serves in the board of the Miami Chapter as the leader of the national NextGen group, a community for young professionals, and is part of the FPA Global Advisory Council. He is regularly engaged in community outreach activities to educate and assist those with unmet financial needs. One of Jorge’s passions is helping individuals and families achieve their true goals and potential.


He started nurturing this interest as an Academic Tutor at Winthrop University and now he continues doing so by working closely with clients as well as mentoring students at the University of Miami, School of Business through their business mentorship program. Jorge obtained a Business Administration degree from Winthrop University, where he graduated with honors and was recognized several years as one of the best student-athletes in the Southeast Region. During college, he played four years in the tennis team, where they won three Big South Conference titles and three participations to the NCAA National Championship. He continues to be very active, playing tennis regularly, soccer, triathlons, golf, and other sports. He enjoys traveling, reading, and the beach.​
